It really is as simple as logging in and hitting "Subscribe", then awaiting our next message, but I have included some extra detail here to clarify any confusion.

In order to subscribe to our mailing list, you need to sign in to UNM's Listserv interface.  You can easily create a password for this interface if you haven't used it before, or if you've forgotten the password you set up previously.  Simply choose "Register Password" or "Forgot Password" (Note: They are exactly the same thing on this interface.) This isn't a password for our site and it's not attached to your NetID password, so only you have access to it, and it will not affect any other services if you need to reset it.

Once you are logged in, find the "Subscribe" button at the bottom of the page.  (If you don't see this button, after going through all of this, you can use this link) You will receive an email notice to confirm your intention to subscribe but on following the link, you will likely see a screen that looks like the image below.

Don't worry about this. There is nothing left for you to do.  We will receive your request and add you in.  We may also send you a welcome message, but this has not yet been automated.

If you later decide to unsubscribe you can use the same link from our home page.  In this instance everything is automated, and you will not need to await any approval from us to leave the list.  You can subscribe or unsubscribe at any time.  If you have further questions or wish to use the alternative e-mail method of subscribing, please see How do I subscribe to a UNM Listserv?
